DESCRIPTION        top

       These functions are deprecated, usepthread_mutexattr_settype(3)       andpthread_mutexattr_gettype(3) instead.

RETURN VALUE        top

pthread_mutexattr_getkind_np() always returns 0.pthread_mutexattr_setkind_np() returns 0 on success and a non-zero       error code on error.

ERRORS        top

       On error,pthread_mutexattr_setkind_np() returns the following       error code:EINVALkind is neitherPTHREAD_MUTEX_FAST_NPnorPTHREAD_MUTEX_RECURSIVE_NPnorPTHREAD_MUTEX_ERRORCHECK_NP.
