| dcterms:abstract | - This article attempts to radicalize Dwight Waldo's criticism of a positivistic position on Public Administration on the basis of the last work of Edmund Husserl, the founder of phenomenology, The Crisis of European Sciences and Transcendental Phenomenology (1970) and Hugh T. Mlller and Charles J. Fox's provocative latest work, Postmodern Public Administration(2007) For that, I will first introduce Waldo's critical discussion upon the problem of politics administration dichotomy within the phenomenological context in which the separation between sciences and our life is considered as the crisis of all sciences And then I will interpret Waldo's detailed analyses of public administration through Husserl's criticism of objective and naturalistic view of science and Miller and Fox's post modern critique of the metaphysics of presence (xsd:string)
- 본 논문은 주로 왈도가 논의하고 있는 실증주의적 행정의 비판에 대한 전체적인 논의를 현상학자 후설(Edmund Husserl)의 마지막 저작「유럽학문의 위기와 선험적 현상학」을 통해서 철저화하고자 한다. 이러한 과정의 일환으로 먼저 왈도가 분석하고 있는 정치와 행정의 분리 과정을 다루고 그 다음 절에서는 그가 얘기하는 행정의 실증주의와 그 비판을 논의할 것이다. 그 다음 왈도의 실증주의 비판을 후설현상학의 객관주의와 자연주의 비판을 통해서 보다 깊이 이해하고자 하며 마지막으로 왈도의 실증주의적 행정 비판을 가장 잘 계승하고 있는 밀러와 팍스 교수의 입장을 그들의 최근 저작 「포스트모던 행정(Postmodern Public Administration)」(2007)을 중심으로 살펴볼 것이다 마지막으로 이 논문을 끝맺으면서 왈도의 행정이론이 후설의 현상학과 포스트모던 행정과 어떻게 조응할 수 있는지 간단히 논의하게 될 것이다 (xsd:string)
