Thisindividual was awizard who, in his lifetime, wasHead of Gryffindor House.[3]
Biography[]
A portrait of this wizard hung inGryffindor Tower. In1994, whenHarry Potter opened hisgolden egg, he was terrified and was seen holding his hands over his ears.[4] In1995, he lamented the lack of a background in his picture, noting that the portrait of theQuidditch player on the opposite wall had an entireQuidditch pitch.[5]

- In thevideo game adaptation ofHarry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, he was credited asGCR Portrait Male 4, and was voiced byJonathan Kydd.[citation needed] His portrait also appears in theGryffindor common room in thevideo game adaptation ofHarry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, but does not speak.
