Biography[]

Myron Wagtail on hisChocolate Frog Card
Wagtail was born some time in the year1970, inGreat Britain orIreland. AttendingHogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from the year1981 or1982, he founded the Weird Sisters alongside his friendsOrsino Thruston andKirley Duke. He was a self-proclaimed fan ofJacob's sibling and invited them to perform with his band without the knowledge of the Hogwarts staff. The band and Jacob's sibling usedIsmelda Murk,Ben Copper, andSeverus Snape as inspiration for theirconcert. Myron andRowan Khanna shared an interest in postmodern existentialist fiction.[2]
During the1987–1988 school year,Charlie Weasley and Jacob's sibling wanted to throw a party atThe Burrow and invited Myron and the Weird Sisters to play for them. Myron was in a creative slump when Jacob's sibling asked, but when Jacob's sibling reminded them of the unnerving things in life, it cheered Myron up and he agreed to play. During the party he gave Jacob's sibling a special shout out from the stage as thanks.[4]
Wagtail, along with his band, performed at theYule Ball of1994 held atHogwarts in honour of theTriwizard Tournament, by which time the band had at least eight members.[5]

Magical abilities and skills[]
- Charms: Wagtail appeared to be talented with charms, as he was able to use theMusic Spell to enchant instruments to play on their own accord, and could use theAmplifying Charm to amplify the sound of his voice whilst performing.[2] He was even capable of conjuring a non-corporealPatronus,[3] a clear mark of superiormagical skill and talent given the immense difficulty of casting such a powerful protective charm.
- Transfiguration: Wagtail was skilled enough with Transfiguration to be able to cast theCauldron to Guitar Spell and teach it toJacob's sibling.[2]
- Singing: Being the lead vocalist for the very popular wizarding band theWeird Sisters, Wagtail was a very talented and capable singer and live music performer.
