Muldoon Cragg[4] was awizard that was depicted in a largeportrait that hung inGryffindor Tower, atHogwarts Castle. In his lifetime, he wasHead of Gryffindor House.[3]

  1. J. K. Rowling stated at the Edinburgh Book Festival on 15 August 2004 (source) that all portraits atHogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry are of deceased individuals. Thus, Muldoon must have died sometime in or before1991, given his portrait's appearance in theThe Making of Harry Potter.
