It was a simplecreature, about ten inches long on average and being identifiable by its long, rubbery proboscis and a large venom sac comprising much of the main body. The Lobalug used its venom sac as a weapon, contracting it and expelling thevenom in the direction of an attacker if threatened.[1]
Merpeople used the Lobalug as a weapon, and thevenom was used bywizards as apotion ingredient, though this practice was strictly controlled.[1]
