During the1890s,Albus Dumbledore, the "most brilliant student ever seen [at Hogwarts]", was in regular correspondence withAdalbert Waffling in order to exchange ideas aboutmagic.^[1] During theCalamity in the late2010s or early2020s,Minerva McGonagall shared these letters with members of theStatute of Secrecy Task Force who pursued aProfessorship profession to help improve their skills in addressing the Calamity.^[2]
