LEGO Dimensions

LEGO Dimensions is a toys-to-life video game developed byTraveller's Tales and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment inSeptember2015. It is a LEGO themed crossover video game featuring franchises owned by Warner Bros., includingHarry Potter.

Sets based on theLEGO Harry Potter theme were announced as part of the Year 2 expansion.^[1]

Gameplay[]

TheFantastic Beasts story pack includes six levels that cover the plot of the film albeit in a form edited both for brevity and comedic effect. It includes an introduction in which Newt readsa letter from his brotherTheseus Scamander regarding the hunt forGellert Grindelwald.

Both the story pack and Tina's pack give access to the open world area ofNew York in1926. Missions here include helping battling gangsters, working at the Port Authority, and helpingJacob Kowalski openhis bakery.

Having both sets, and completing the story, allows one to play asQueenie Goldstein andJacob Kowalski.

The Harry Potter Team Pack gives access to the Harry Potter open world that contains locations such as12 Grimmauld Place,Hogsmeade, andHogwarts Castle. Missions include battlingBellatrix Lestrange, assistingLuna Lovegood, and retrieving copies ofKnitter's Own forAlbus Dumbledore.

These locations are not as extensive or complete as their implementation in the earlierLEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 andLEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 video games.

Voldemort also appears in theLEGO Batman Movie Story Pack as one of the villains that The Joker frees from the Phantom Zone, and serves as that story's final boss.
