Gabriel Truman (born c.1975) was awizard and aHufflepuff student atHogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in his youth. In the early1990s, he was one of the school'sPrefects, and dutifully welcomed Hufflepufffirst-years to theHufflepuff Basement with a short speech.[2]

Gabriel Truman was born sometime between1973 and1976, somewhere in theBritish Isles.[2]
Hogwarts years[]

He began attendingHogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry sometime between1985 and1987, where he wasSorted intoHufflepuff House.[2]
In histhird year, he landed in trouble by getting into aduel with aRavenclaw prefect who argued that the famousArithmancerBridget Wenlock must have been in his own house, not Hufflepuff, as she was in fact. Gabriel felt he deserved a week's worth of detentions for his own actions, butProfessor Sprout went easy on him, sending him off with a warning and a box ofcoconut ice.[2]
By the1991–1992 school year, Gabriel had been made aPrefect himself and, after theStart-of-Term Feast on1 September1991, welcomed theHufflepufffirst-years as they arrived atHufflepuff Basement with a short speech about the House traditions, symbols, characteristics, and famous past students.[2]
