Considered "exceedingly dangerous", the brewing of this potion was taught tosixth-years in the1989–1990 school year atHogwarts, byProfessorSeverus Snape inPotions class.[2]
On21 April1997,Ron Weasley sarcastically suggestedHarry Potter took this potion after Harry consumedFelix Felicis, as he felt his friend was behaving erratically.[1]
