Biography[]
Ada was fromMarunweem, Scotland. She attendedHogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in her youth, where she met and fell in love withTarek of Eastern heritage.[2] Her family did not approve of him due to his background, and at one point in or beforeFebruary1890,[1] when they were separated by distance, Tarekwrote to her and asked her toApparate to the western side of a mountain nearCragcroft so that they could meet.[2] However, their meeting unravelled quickly whenRanrok's Loyalists found and attacked them. Ada was able to Disapparate quickly while Tarek stayed behind to fight them. Soon, Tarekwrote to her again, recounting their meeting and asking about their plans to elope, which they had discussed briefly.[3]
Due to her family's disapproval and the increasing danger ofDark forces, Ada decided that she and Tarek would have to start anew far away, so she agreed and made plans to elope. She contacted anold witch inOslo,Norway who agreed to give Tarek an apprenticeship. She was also pregnant around this time. They intended to elope the next Monday, after which she would tell Tarek about her pregnancy. She wrote inher diary about these decisions.[1]
