From theSlack discussion, a plugin/theme could be compatible with 5.5 and 7.0 but not 5.6. We will want to review the logic in the code to supports this as it's definitely a possibility.

Perbugscrub today, we're keeping this in the1.0.0 release as it should already do this, but now that we need to upgrade PHPCompatability results we should verify that.
