About The Pull Request

  • New Bridge

A bit of a re-vamp of the Command/Bridge area as well as some of the hallways just to bring it in line with some of the other changes.

This is a work in progress piece, PR is mainly here for feedback from others and the dreaded Linters :)

Why It's Good For The Game

  • Catwalk continues to be worked on

map: CATWALK - Bridge - New location and new layout, now feels impressive and should be better for those scenes that take places there, bit more gravitas, it also contains an escape route behind 2x high security doors, or could it be an attack route in?
map: CATWALK - Command Meeting Area - Now is a more central location, no point having meetings on the bridge itself, have them in the meeting room
map: CATWALK - HOP Office - Made larger and a few things re-arranged to work and make sense
map: CATWALK - Command Area - Some of the screens/wall mounts have been moved and fixed
map: CATWALK - Captain Office - Re-arranged and a few broken things fixed, the door to the public hallway has been removed
map: CATWALK - Public Area - New chill out area to replace the weird judge/holding cell, generic for now but also a space for players to take apart easily and build new things, NT even threw in a water cooler
map: CATWALK - Hallways - New floor tiles featuring the dreaded catwalks, A more central landmark to identify when in the central area, may be divisive opinion wise.
map: CATWALK - EVA - Security doors on jetpacks/magboots now working, one was free access the other was missing + a decal added to lower ladder to make it obvious

Those windows on the bridge look a bit ugly, maybe rotate the blast doors and remove the inner windows? Rotated blast doors will get covered by top and bottom windows I believe

We don't have sprites for blast doors in any other direction sadly :)

Inner windows are a compromise just so if you break one window you don't then run up and down all of the green grass area

Note with second image, you will phase through the windoors walking up the stairs, and then be trapped in the room without sufficient access.
