I'm a physicist, Senior Developer and IT Consultant from Böblingen, Germany, working on OSS written in JavaScript (e.g., using Svelte and TypeScript) for desktops and notebooks, tablets and smartphones, or embedded computers, resp. Currently, all this work is done in my spare time - but with some funding I could devote more time to OSS.
As a small start, even an amount of $500 would already be enough to justify the time spent on OSS development
