Resgrid, LLC was founded in 2012 by Shawn Jackson a Volunteer Fire Fighter from Douglas County, Nevada, and Jason Jarrett a Software Architect based in Reno, Nevada. Together we started working on a hosted software platform that gives First Responder organizations a complete system, including dispatch, personnel management, inventory, RMS, and much more in a cohesive package. Our goal was to eventually open-source our entire system and in 2019 we did.
The power of open-source software is amazing and we feel that there is a lack of it in the First Responder and Emergency Management sectors. Our goal as an organization is to provide a top tier software system and also provide hosted options to enable the use of OSS to as many of those organizations as possible.
