 # Deprecation Notice
 This library will be deprecating over the next year. We recommend users looking for a good GitHub JavaScript client library try [Octokit](https://github.com/octokit/rest.js/). Our current plan for 2019:

 **June-July**
 - review all open pull requests, either closing them or merging them
 - look through the ~100 open issues and determine if they're features, bugs, questions and so on

 **July-August**
 - submit new PRs to resolve the reported bugs and features

 **September-December**
 - refuse all new feature issues
 - resolve security vulnerabilities

 Note that this isn't set in stone, so please come leave your feedback [here](https://github.com/github-tools/github/issues/564).
