Searching across latex files#704

Being a researcher in STEM, I cannot solely rely on obsidian, although I love the feature. As of now, most of my notes are either in obsidian vault or in project folder as latex document.

Problem: I want to search across all of text (obsidian, latex files).

obsidian.nvim provides nice interface to search across the vault, I'm wondering what would it take to add another vault (i.e. vault of latex files). I'm total blank if there exists such plugin (I couldn't find any) allowing indexing and search across latex files.

Given my use case, it makes sense for me to use single search for both. I'm wondering what would it take to include latex files as well. Currently obsidian.nvim uses ripgrep, does it index the files, maintains a cache to or a fresh search is across each time? I've many questions, but all I'm looking for is an efficient way to search through the files - both markdown and latex.
