So kernel newer than 6.12.34 are broken? this makes it a bit hard to deploy this. Does _latest work? Otherwise people would need to compile kernel manually.

Yes, latest works so far (6.15.7), I was hoping it'd soon get fixed in 6.12 series. But just tried 6.12.39 - still doesn't work

Any downsides with just depending on linuxPackages_latest as the default?

Don't know what's common & recommended in nixos-hardware, but currently that's what I'm using so won't mind a default

Added latest override, guarded by "default" being broken
