  • This is an extremely niche bug that (as shown in#14 ) does not affect any of LDMX's standard samples focused on biased production within the target or the ecal. Patching this bug does help with biased production in volumes upstream of the target (described in#13 andtomeichlersmith/ldmx-dimuon#5 ) and so patching it so it is available in the downstream development image will be nice for future work.

@nataliatoro has modified Geant4 internal models in order to bias up kaon-producing interactions that are worrying for LDMX. I am making this release so that the container build can reference a stable commit.

I am marking this release as a pre-release so that future users know this isnot meant to be a mainline production Geant4 version.

This release will be used for the production of ECal PN samples with version 5 of the LDMX detector.

This release is of Geant4 10.2.3 with additional modifications to the modeling of photo-nuclear processes. It also includes the modifications included in tag LDMX.10.2.3.

This is a tag of Geant4 10.2.3 that was used for the LDMX whitepaper studies. It includes the following modifications:

• Change range over which Bertini Cascade is used
