Problem description

Applying a revolution on an object on XZ axis defaults to vertical axis, which causes unrecoverable error and stops rendering (until re-open after save).

Attached is an example (from the FreeCAD Step by Step ebook).

To reproduce:

  1. Open the file
  2. Select the Sketch
  3. Click "Revolution" (error appears).

Workaround is:

  1. Select the correct axis (preview willnot update)
  2. Save as a separate file
  3. Close FreeCAD
  4. Open FreeCAD
  5. Open the newly saved version of the file.
