The Drifers app is designed to provide access to drift data to help recover objects lost out at sea.
The current state of the app is in the early stages of Alpha.
First you want to follow the instructions onhttps://facebook.github.io/react-native/docs/getting-started.htmlunder Build Projects with Native Code to setup your environment.
Second, you want to clone the repository by running
git clone https://github.com/CoderVets/Drifters.gitAfter cloning you have to setup the directory by downloading the dependencies.First make sure you are in the right directoryDrifters
Run the command:
npm installThis will download all the dependencies that the application needs to run.
Inside the directoryDrifters run:
react-native run-iosNote that you need a Mac computer to run this command.
Make sure you have an emulator running for Android.Within the directoryDrifters run:
react-native run-androidManual input of Latitude and Longitute currently inop.
If you have any problems, first make sure you followed the steps onhttps://facebook.github.io/react-native/docs/getting-started.htmlfor your particular OS and target OS.
