Unlegacy Android Project has fixed many issues with nexus 5 android pie. I am using it for 3 days and eeverything works great.

I am currently running the Pie AOSP ROM from threadhttps://xdaforums.com/google-nexus-5/orig-development/rom-unlegacy-android-project-t3593425

Hardware-wise everything works and the performance is great. Maybe there is something to learn / pick from this AOSP to get the missing bits working?

I hope that we will get LOS 16 soon by awesome developers as@amaces said that:
I keep my kernel and device tree Lineage-compatible, I contribute everything new there, so once things stabilize, one could build LNOS from these repos almost painlessly.

Will you@tdukazudon and@razorloves co-operate together and be our heroes to make LOS 16 dream a reality?

Just download the latest rom and flash it without any wipe via twrp:p

    At present Lineage OS 15.1 is not provided with an official version, and the unofficial version is also delayed in updating. So we are planning to release an individual build in this thread up to the official release date.

    New drop. Everything done by amaces and razorloves as mentioned previously. Send them paypal money or something.

    He actually released 8.1 Unlegacy this morning, just rebuilt Lineage with his sources.

    I had to disable NFC service because it wasn't doing proper things. I think unlegacy may have it working, if it's important for your workflow.

    Torch and data now work.
