I tried last build for my nexus 5 but the previus one(07/01) was better. This ROM seems to have some sort of stability problem; infact after login in the OS my screen suddenly turning off (sort of software crash) and reload in the lockscreen again and again (with notifications keeping popping out).
I dont know if it can be related to gapps package and/or magisk 19.3 that i flashed within the ROM in TWRP
I agree. The latest build isn't as stable as the one before it. The crisp response has gone for a toss and I'm experiencing lot of stutter in using several apps at the same time (mostly switching between them). May be cos of the recent kernel changes but the DEVs know better.
While I was drafting a long email with WiFi ON, I couldn't pick up an incoming call because the UI just hung up.

On the plus side, the battery backup has a gain.
(In case, it helps anyone with debug, I dirty flashed the build on top of 1st July one)

In case you skip the networks set up in the initial wizard (so the phoe does not have the net coonection during the initial boot / wizard process), then it will pass and boot the system. That is my experience that led to the installation final. Later you can log to google account and finish this part to install the apps from store

I am facing a problem to enter PIN to the SIM after reboot. Telephone boots without SIM correctly. When the SIM is inserrted, the telephone boots and ask for SIM PIN, after entering PIN it shuts down.

I think you are mistaking LineageOS for some other ROM.

Lineage had a pretty limited but stable set of features added ontop AOSP as long as I can remember. Even in the CyanogenMod days it was more of a clean and stable rom that felt like a better version of AOSP rather than a featurepacked but unstable build.

Some of the features you are requesting don't even make sense on hammerhead as for example there is no dual sim functionality etc.

So I guess the chances of any of these features getting implemented if they aren't yet are pretty slim.

I suggest to look at an official build of LineageOS for some other device to get a feel for which features you can expect.;)
All features are in version 14.1 of LineageOS by Darck_eyes!

Even the dual sim stuff???
If they where official LineageOS features and wheren't cut officially going to version 16.0 then they should be there.
Some features you had requested are actually there I think (pocket detection, doubletab to sleep etc.). VoLTE and dual sim stuff isn't included however (at least it doesn't show in the build I'm running right now - lineage-16.0-20190719-UNOFFICIAL-hammerhead)

EDIT: I just saw that you posted the same list in the Pixel Experience thread stating that those features will be in future official builds of that ROM. So I'm not quite sure what you are trying to achieve. IF you want a reasonably stable ROM with a decent feature set use this one. If you need more features CrDroid or other similar ROMs might be better.:)

EDIT2: DARK ROM isn't bare LineageOS BTW, as there are features added to it by the developer, that arent part of the official LineageOS source.

Hey friends! What is done during the repartition process? Isn't cache necessary any more? Is this repartition table the same as the one offered in the other thread by@Clamor ? Maybe the repartitions could be adjusted to be same if they aren't at this time. Is it possible to install older roms with smaller system file sizes with the repartition done from this thread? What happens if someone tries to flash stock rom if the repartition is not reverted?

I know - a lot of questions - but some of these answers could be put in the 1st or 2nd post. Many thanks!

@z3DD3r thanks for another important update. I just want you to know that random software-only reboots still exists. On positive side, it's not that often as in previous builds.

I can second that, the crash to lockscreen is still present but not as frequent any more. Sadly couldn't grab any log files as I deactivated logging after I installed it :silly:
It however mainly seemed to happen using Chrome (the developer version) and Duolingo. But there where instances when the crash occured using other apps, so it might just be correlation.

Thanks a ton for all your hard work:D

EDIT: I sadly also have to report that I experienced a few complete reboots with the new build. I didn't face this issue with the last one (didn't have as much time to test that though).

1st, thanks to Rom Developer, its wonderful use android Pie again on the Nexus, testing 20190729 release,no unexpected reboots at all in 24 hours, good battery drain in deep sleep at night, haven't tweaked the kernel at all it's sweet to use the bluetooth call feature again.
2nd does anybody have a problem using Gboard keyboard in Whatsapp?, sometimes when trying to answer a message Gboard keyboard app doesn´t want to show, and the navbar buttons become unresponsive, so i go to the lock screen, then unlock the phone and navbar fixes itself; right now i'm using aosp keyboard to test if the glitch persist (what a pita keyboard) will update Gboard and Whatsapp to latest, to keep testing, also can't send videos or stickers in messages too.
3rd is if i install the microG for ogyt app (ver 0.2.6.17455), needed to use OGyoutube, the phone behaves erraticly, crashing to desktop, and have to wipeit and restore the previous back up, of the rom to useit, (maybe a problem with microG?).
Not using GAPS or google services to.

I find that we've nightly builds now available. Are these only for specific-test purpose?

I'm still using the one notified by DEV, explicitly, on 26th July.

You can find the commits here:
https://github.com/nexus5oof/device_lge_hammerhead/commits/lineage-16.0

If you're interested, give it a shot.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9.0 (Pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
    Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>/* * Your warranty is now void. * * We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if * you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you. * */
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOSGithub repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit ourGerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

    Hi there,

I've build new version of LOS:
    lineage-16.0-20190615-UNOFFICIAL-hammerhead.zip
    lineage-16.0-20190615-UNOFFICIAL-hammerhead.zip.md5sum

This version includes fix for calls via bluetooth!
I'm not sure that fix will work in all cases. Please test this build and share your results.

PS: Many thanks to@EnesSastim and@Sashko98 for their work!

As 07/19 u have to resize, here is the tutorial:

How to increase system (assuming that u have unmodified partitions):
    1. Flash twrp-3.3.1-HH-hammerhead.img
    2. Open terminal (TWRP -> Advanced -> Terminal)
    3. Type hh_repart -m
    4. Wait until your phone reboots.

    How to revert everything:
    1. Open terminal (TWRP -> Advanced -> Terminal)
    2. Type hh_repart -r
    3. Wait until your phone reboots.
    4. Install original TWRP (3.3.1-0 at the current moment)
