• Theclub stocked 29,000 Atlantic salmon fry into the FishCreek watershed on April 23, 2024.

• OnMay 11, 2023 students fro the Camden Middle Schoolstocked the fish raised int he classroom into the Mad River withassistance by  club members.
• Clubmembers met on April 15, 2023 to approximately 20,000Atlantic salmon fry obtained from the Ed Weed Fish Culural Station. 
• Clubmembers met on May 26, 2022 to assist the Camden Middleschool students stock the fish they had helped raise in the classroom.
• Volunteersmet in Taberg on April 23, 2022 to stock 48,000Atlantic salmon fry.  They arrived in good condition from theEdWeed Fish Cultural Station located on Grand Isle, Vermont.
• OnFriday November 12,members met at the old hatchery todemolish it.  SeeHatcheryDemolition
• OnSaturday, April 24, theclub stocked 63,000 Atlantic Salmonfry into the Fish creek watershed.  The weather cooperated andeveryone had a good time.

• VicePresident TomSchneider was inducted into the New York Outdoorsman Hall of Fame onApril 27 atTheodore's restaurant previously known as the Rusty Rail.
• SpeyNation will hold its next stream side seminar on June22, 2019. 
• OnMay 23, 2019 club members assisted the students from theImmaculateHeart Central School stock Atlantic salmon that were hatched and raisedin the classroom see. IHCC-2019
• OnMay 17, 2019 club members assisted the sixth grade classat Camden Middle school with stocking fish (both brook trout andAtlantic salmon) that was raised in the school.
• OnApril 29, 2019 volunteers and members of the club stocked57,000 Atlantic salmon fry into Fish Creek and its tributaries. The fish were obtained from the Ed Weed Fish Culture StationinVermont.

• OnJune 22, 2018 club members met in McConnellsville tostock some 20,000 Atlantic salmon raised in the club's hatchery.
• OnMay 26, 2018 members of the club assisted students fromthe Camden Middle School in stocking of the fish raised by the sixthgrade class.  To see the update go to  Camden2018

• OurownTomSchneiderwashonored as "Sportsmanof the Year"  at the Central New York SportsmanShow on February 4, 2017 held at the Kallet Civic Theater in Oneida,NY.
• Spey Nationheldits annual seminar on using Spey rods on June 25.  The eventcontinues to be successful and well attended.  It was a sunnywarm day and the club again benefited from the raffle for which we aregrateful.
• OnJune7, 2016  club members assisted students in the CamdenMiddle School to stock fish they had raised for the Trout in theClassroom project initiated by Trout Unlimited.
• Ourluck did not hold this past season as the water line to the incubatorgot plugged up and all of the fish died.  Luckily the DwightD. Eisenhower National Fish Hatcheryin Vermont came to our aid and gave us their surplus Atlantic salmon(see above). The Adirondack Fish Hatchery also had surplus fish andgave the club 10,000 Atlantic salmon. In total the club stockedapproximately 25,000 Atlantic salmon in 2016.

• OnApril 25 club membersmovedthe Atlantic salmon fry to the hatchery.
• Oureggs arrived safely on Jan 22 due to the efforts of Pauland Dick and placed in our incubators.  Members are attendingtothe eggs daily and the eggs are doing nicely.
• At the December 4 meeting,  a new slate ofofficers were nominated.  The officers for 2015 are asfollows. President - Jim  Lawler, Vice President - TomSchneider -Treasurer - Paul Miller, Secretary - Gene Carey.
• OnJuly 26 members stocked 1500 Atlantic salmon in LittleRoaring Brook which is in the headwaters of Fish Creek.
• OnJune 26 members stocked the remaining salmon from ourhatchery downstream from Blossvale.
•  SpeyNation contributed the proceeds from their 2014 raffleto the club.  Thanks again guys!
  
• OnJune 4, 2014 club members assistedCamdenMiddle Schoolstudents who stockedtrout and salmon in the Mad River that they had raised. 
• OnMay 10, 2014 volunteers met in Taberg and stocked 24,000Atlantic salmon in Fish Creek in and around the hamlets of Taberg andBlossvale.  SeeStocking May 2014above for details.
• OnApril 22, 2014 Atlantic salmon alvin were transferredfrom the incubator in the pump house to the tanks in the hatchery. All went well.
• Our own,Paul Millerwasinducted into the Sportmen's HallofFame on April 26.
• TheAtlantic salmon eggs arrived at the hatchery on February27 and were placed in the egg incubator that is set up in the pumphouse at Harden Furniture.  Paul Miller and Jim Morristraveled toMaine the previous day to pick up the eggs.  Arlie's idea ofusinga heater to raise the temperature works even better than anticipated.
• OnDecember 2013the club installed an egg incubator.  Seeabove for moredetails.

• OnJune 29, 2013 club members stocked the 35,000 Atlanticsalmon fry that members had raised into the West Branch of Fish Creek.
  
• OnApril 6, 2013 members stocked 15,000 Atlantic salmon frygiven to the club by the Ed Weed Fish Cultural Station in Vermont (seeabove).
