Russian dealers of Chevrolet started to accept the preliminary orders for a new low-cost sedan Cobalt. And the first cars will receive cars at the beginning of March, Russian subdivision of Chevrolet informed “AvtoSreda”. The new car will be available in three variants with the price from RUB 444,000. 

LT car with basic vehicle equipment includes 1,5L petroleum engine and 5-speed transmission. Air conditioner and safety set with additional payment of RUB 26,000 and RUB 20,000, respectively, are among additional options. Chevrolet Cobalt with the same engine and 6-speed automatic transmission will cost RUB 503,000 and the car with LTZ vehicle equipment will cost RUB 530,000. The audio preparation and built-in dynamics are in the initial versions and audio system with radio and music play through USB/AUX inputs is available in LTZ version.

Let us recall that new compact sedan Chevrolet Cobalt was showed at first in Russia in Moscow motor show. According to Chevrolet, the design of Cobalt that was developed in design-centre GM in Brazil, is typical mostly for cars of high class. The model includes key classic elements of design of Chevrolet, including double radiator closure and the dashboard decision with a digital display that is already familiar for buyers.

The modern convenient cabin, which has the maximum possible capacity in this segment, is hidden behind the compact sizes of Cobalt. Backs of rear seats could be folded in a proportion 60/40 that permits to use a functional space for cargo transportation with 545L volume – it is one of the highest indicators in the segment. 

Chevrolet Cobalt has a petroleum engine with 1,5L volume, a 105HP capacity, which consumes 6,5L/100km in a mixed cycle.
