  • Within bibliographicreferences,id. indicates a previouslycited work, if there has not been another work cited in the meantime, & if theextracts - to which references are made - are close by or the same. If the references are on the same page,ibid. is used. If they are several pages away in the same book,op. cit. is used, accompanied by the name of theauthor & the page number.
