You're doing well here! Nice module-writing skillsVilipender (talk)12:33, 29 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
Hi, sorry, I replaced the WOTD you set for 19 September because another one had been proposed by -sche in line with International Talk Like a Pirate Day, as mentioned their comment dated 12 May 2025. However, please help to set WOTDs if you are interested and feel able to do so. In order to avoid clashes, I created "Wiktionary:Word of the day/Nominations/Schedule" for editors working on WOTDs to propose the dates on which entries should appear. Are you a template editor? At the moment that page is only editable by administrators and template editors, because it's only for scheduling and not for people to put nominations on. Also, to reduce the likelihood of clashes, you may want to think about setting WOTDs for a month further ahead, such as November or December 2025, or January or February 2026. What do you think? —Sgconlaw (talk)18:33, 17 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
┌────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘ I should probably have contacted you earlier, but I was busy. I'm travelling from now till 2 October, and so may not be able to set the WOTDs regularly. Would you like to help? I got the 22 September one done (though I don't have time to add or update quotations as I usually do), but 23–26 and 29–30 September haven't been set yet. As indicated in the schedule, I was thinking we could featureNintendinitis for 23 September, or if you prefer, skip that and follow the silent letters theme so that the following proposed by -sche can be featured:
Let me know! (I actually missed the WOTD for 21 September. If you're really OCD about it I guess you could setcondign (silentg) for it, and then set it to run again on another date in the future so it isn't "wasted" …) —Sgconlaw (talk)05:03, 22 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
