    For a more widespread definition for hand and arm, see*ɔ́-ɓɔ́. While in Yoruba the term has come to meanarm orwing, it likely originally as a term for wing or shoulder. See proposedProto-Igboid*έ-ká,Nupeekpá. Yoruboid descendant termèjìká orójíká may also come from the same root.
