     The Glasgow electrification symbol of yellow and blue "Vs" overlapping on a black background is becoming familiar onClydeside.

This is a fairly loose term describing an undefined area along the river; the main highway along the north side of the river is known as the Clydeside Expressway for some distance west of the city.
