Esperanto terms used fortext messaging on mobile phones or similar devices, usually consisting of heavily abbreviated forms.
The grammar of Esperanto gives the possibility to shorten many sentences without even having to use special textspeak codes. For example,It would be good if we should start cooking, don't you agree? or shortenedLet's start cooking, OK? (18 letters) can beEstus bone se ni komencus kuiradon, ĉu vi konsentas? but also shortlyNi ekkuiru, ĉu? (11 letters). Adjectives can get verbs ("it is blue":"bluas" instead of"ĝi estas blua"), adverbs can be used ("in the train":"trajne" instead of"en la trajno"), suffixes can be applied and combined whenever possible.
