- The Cyrillicб is notably similar in appearance to the numeral6.
- Chinese radical阝 (3 strokes), meaning 'place', has a shape similar to B; however, it is pronouncedfù oryì.
- The letterᗷ of the Carrier syllabary resembles a "B"; the letterᗺ, its inverted form. Other symbols in the same syllabary that resemble rotated forms of this Latin letter includeᗵ andᗶ.
- The form of CherokeeᏴ(yv) is copied from that of the Latin letter, but it represents an unrelated syllable.
- The number13 may be confused with a capital B when handwritten.
