Note that derived forms ofők use only “ő” as the first component; it is only the ending that marks the plural form (e.g.őalattuk(“under them”) as opposed toőalatta(“under him/her”), orővelük(“with them”) as opposed toővele(“with him/her”)). In all these forms,ő is optional and only serves for emphasis.
