Zois Karampelas (Greek: Ζώης Καράμπελας, born April 27, 2001) is a Greek professionalbasketball player forKolossos Rodou of theGreek Basketball League. He plays at thepoint guard position.
Karampelas began his pro career in theGreek 2nd Division withPeristeri, in the2017–18 season. He debuted in Greece's top-tier level, in the2018–19 season, with Peristeri, in a game againstHolargos.[1][2] He was named theGreek League Best Young Player, of the 2018–19 season.[3]
On July 17, 2021, Karampelas moved toLarisa, under his former coachNikos Papanikolopoulos. In 35 league games, he averaged 5.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 20 minutes per contest.
On August 15, 2022, Karampelas signed a three-year contract withAEK Athens and was subsequently loaned toApollon Patras for the first season.[4] In 22 league games, he averaged 6.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.1 steals in 24 minutes per contest. On May 2, 2023, Karampelas returned to AEK.[5]
On July 9, 2025, Karampelas joinedKolossos Rodou of theGBL.[6]
Karampelas has been a member of the Greek junior national teams. With Greece's youth national teams, he played at the2018 FIBA Under-18 European Championship,[7] and at the2019 FIBA Under-19 World Cup.[8]
