TheZazi (Pashto:ځاځي; plur. ځاځی), also spelledZazai, zarakzai orJaji, are aKarlani (کرلاڼي)Pashtun tribe. They are found inAfghanistan andPakistan

They are most prominent in thePaktia andKhost provinces in theLoya Paktia region of southeasternAfghanistan but also have a presence inKabul,Logar,Ghazni,Nangharhar,Kunduz, andBaghlan in Afghanistan and neighbouringKurram District andKhyber Pakhtunkhwa across the border.

The (Zazai) ځاځی Jaji جاجی areSunni Muslims. The tribe is inhabited in Six major geographic locations in Afghanistan and Pakistan:

• Aryob Zazi: in Paktia province
• Ahmadkhail: in Paktia province
• Dand Pathan: in Paktia province
• Kabul: in Kabul province
