Zavier Didier Tapei Gozo (born March 22, 2007) is an American professionalsoccer player who plays as aforward forMajor League Soccer clubReal Salt Lake.
Gozo is a youth product of Comba FC and La Roca FC, before signing with the academy ofReal Salt Lake in 2021.[2] On 14 December 2022, he signed his first professional contract withReal Monarchs in theMLS Next Pro.[3] On 13 October 2023, he was called up to RSL for his firstMajor League Soccer match. He debuted with Real Salt Lake in a 2–2 Major League Soccer tie withLA Galaxy on 15 October 2023.[4] On 20 February 2024 he signed a contract withReal Salt Lake in the MLS until 2027, with an option to extend until 2029.[5]
Born in the United States, Gozo was born to an Ivorian father and American mother.[6] He was part of theUnited States U20s that finished as runners-up at the2024 CONCACAF U-20 Championship.[7]
Gozo is a member of theLDS Church.[6]
