Bharucha Hasim bin Yusuf, better known by his pen nameZar Randeri, was aGujarati poet and translator fromGujarat,India.[1] He was born inRander, a town inSurat,Gujarat. He received his primary and secondary education in Rander and then went to Aminiyah Arabiyah, aMadrasa inDelhi, for further education. He published the first Gujarati book on Persianmetres[2][3] asShairi in two volumes in 1936. His other notable works includeShamshire Sadakat,Hindustan Na Humla,Aatma Ane Punarjanma. He translated and published several works such asKasdussabil (1913),Muhannad,Dharmaprachar,Mahatma Ane Islam andHindustani Bhasha.[1]
