Zamari Oshay Walton (born May 31, 1999) is an American professionalfootballcornerback for theHamilton Tiger-Cats of theCanadian Football League (CFL). Walton previously playedcollege football for theGeorgia Tech Yellow Jackets and theOle Miss Rebels. He has also had a stint with theLos Angeles Chargers of theNational Football League (NFL).
Walton playedcollege football for theGeorgia Tech Yellow Jackets from 2018 to 2022 and theOle Miss Rebels in 2023.[1][2] Heredshirted his first year after he appeared in four games and recorded four tackles.[3] The following season Walton played in all 12 games and started in 11, recording 29 tackles and three pass breakups.[4] He started in all 10 games in 2020 and made his first interception againstSyracuse and finished the season with 37 tackles, two interceptions and five pass breakups.[5] Against theNotre dame Fighting Irish, he returned a 93-yard fumble return for the longest fumble return in Georgia Tech history.[6][1] In 2021, Walton appearing in 10 games and started in 6, recording 19 tackles and his first sack.[7][1] In his last year at Georgia Tech, he played in all 12 games, totaling 36 tackles, one interception and six pass deflections.[8]
For his final year of eligibility, Walton transferred to theUniversity of Mississippi.[9] In 13 games, he tallied 38 tackles, two interceptions and seven pass deflections.[10][2]

After not being selected in the2024 NFL draft, Walton signed with theLos Angeles Chargers as anundrafted free agent.[12] He was waived by the team on August 27.[13]
On January 30, 2025, theHamilton Tiger-Cats signed Walton.[14] On June 1, he was placed on the practice roster ahead of the 2025 season.[15] He made hisCFL debut on August 16, starting at boundary corner back against theSaskatchewan Roughriders, where he recorded three tackles.[16][17]
