Town in ancient Paphlagonia

Zagorus orZagoros (Ancient Greek:Ζάγωρος), alsoZagorum orZagoron (Ζάγωρον),[1] and alsoZagora (Ζάγωρα),[2]Zageira (Ζάγειρα),[3] orZacoria,[4] was a town on theEuxine coast ofancient Paphlagonia on the road betweenSinope and the mouth of theHalys River, from the latter of which it was distant about 400stadia.

Its site is located nearÇayağzı inAsiatic Turkey.[5][6]
