Zachary Tyler Eisen (born September 23, 1993) is an American actor. He voicedAang in Nickelodeon'sAvatar: The Last Airbender, Lucas Nickle inThe Ant Bully, Andrew inLittle Bill and Pablo in the 2004 animated TV seriesThe Backyardigans. His film roles includeEntropy (1999) andMarci X (2003).[1] While living in Connecticut, he did most of hisAvatar: The Last Airbender recordings via satellite from there and New York. As of January 2021, he works in the entertainment industry "behind the camera".[2]
Zachary Tyler Eisen was born inStamford, Connecticut, to aJewish-American family.
He first acted as Lucas inPhil Joanou's filmEntropy. He then started his voice role as Wee Willy, the main character in the unairedNickelodeon/Nick Jr. pitch pilot for thePBS Kids TV seriesSuper Why!. His next voice role was as Andrew Mulligan in theBill Cosby–createdNickelodeon seriesLittle Bill. Eisen later appeared on a 2000 episode ofNick Jr.'sDora the Explorer as Baby Red Fish and portrayed a boy inRichard Benjamin'sMarci X. He was cast as Pablo in the children's TV showThe Backyardigans for its first season. In the last three seasons of the series, he was replaced byJake Goldberg. He then provided the voice of Aang inNickelodeon'sAvatar: The Last Airbender. He voiced Lucas Nickle in the movieThe Ant Bully.
He also has done voice work for video games, reprising his role as Lucas Nickle for the video gameThe Ant Bully and as Aang in theAvatar: The Last Airbender video games, includingthe series' titular video game adaptation,Avatar: The Last Airbender – The Burning Earth andAvatar: The Last Airbender – Into the Inferno.
