Zinc finger protein 217, also known asZNF217, is aprotein which in humans is encoded by theZNF217gene.[5][6]

Function

[edit]

ZNF217 can attenuateapoptotic signals resulting fromtelomere dysfunction and may promote neoplastic transformation and later stages of malignancy.[7] Znf217 was shown to be a prognostic biomarker and therapeutic target during breast cancer progression.[8]
