Yvon Le Roux (born 19 April 1960) is a French former professionalfootballer who played as adefender. He earned 28 international caps (one goal) for theFrance national team during the mid-1980s and was part of the team at the1986 FIFA World Cup and the team that wonUEFA Euro 1984. Whilst atMarseille he helped them to theleague andcup double in 1989.
Le Roux was born on 19 April 1960 inPlouvorn, Finistère.[1]
Le Roux was a member of theFrance national team. In theUEFA Euro 1984 Final he was sent off, but his team still managed to beatSpain 2–0.[2]
