Constituency of the National Assembly of France
The11th constituency of Yvelines is a French legislativeconstituency in theYvelinesdépartement.
The 11th constituency ofYvelines lies in the middle of the department and forms part of the western suburbs ofParis.
The seat is one of the more left leaning inYvelines and has electedPS deputies at the1988,1997 and2012 elections.
At the2012 it elected leading left wingerBenoît Hamon who was appointed almost instantly to the government ofJean-Marc Ayrault.
Philippe Benassaya was elected at a 2020 by-election, following the appointment ofNadia Hai asSecretary of State toMinister of Territorial DevelopmentJacqueline Gourault.
