Yukabar (alsoYukhabr;Classical Mandaic:ࡉࡅࡊࡀࡁࡀࡓ,Modern Mandaic pronunciation:[juˈχawar] is anuthra (angel or guardian) in theWorld of Light.^[1] He is the envoy of life who raises up thesoul, and is also calledYukabar-Manda-Hiia (Yukabar Manda Hayyi).^[2]

Yukashar is mentioned inQulasta prayers74,77, 173, and 379.^[3] InRight Ginza 15.6, he is mentioned asYukabar-Kušṭa, and inRight Ginza 16.4 and 17.1 asYukabar-Ziwa.^[1]
