Yousif Mohamed Ahmed Mirza Al-Hammadi (Arabic:يوسف محمد احمد ميرزا الحمادي) (born 8 October 1988) is an Emirati formerracing cyclist, who competed as a professional forUCI WorldTeamUAE Team Emirates from 2017 to 2022.[3]
Mirza has won multiple Emirati national titles as well as winning the silver medal in the road race at the2015 Asian Cycling Championships, qualifying him for the2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil.[4] He was the first Emirati cyclist to compete in theOlympic road race. After his teamAl Nasr Pro Cycling Team–Dubai disbanded at the end of the 2016 season, he joined theUAE Abu Dhabi team for 2017, becoming the first Emirati to ride for aUCI WorldTeam.[5]
His older brother,Badr, also competed as a professional road cyclist.
