Yostar Games was founded in 2014 inShanghai, China. It is known for developing and publishing video games such asAzur Lane,Blue Archive, andArknights.[2] In early 2020, the company expanded its business into theanime industry by establishingYostar Pictures in Japan.[3]

Since April 2024, Yostar has been a major sponsor ofFuji TV's Wednesday midnight anime block+Ultra, beginning withViral Hit.
