Yoshiaki Nishimura (西村 義明,Nishimura Yoshiaki; born September 25, 1977 inTokyo, Japan) is a Japanese lead film producer formerly ofStudio Ghibli and founder ofStudio Ponoc.[1] He was nominated for theAcademy Award for Best Animated Feature in 2014 forThe Tale of Princess Kaguya[2] and received a consecutive nomination in 2015 forWhen Marnie Was There in the same category.[3][4]
