TheYomut carpet[1] is a type ofTurkmen rug traditionally handwoven by theYomut or Yomud, one of the major tribes ofTurkmenistan. A Yomut design, along with designs of the four other major tribes, such as Ersari and Tekke, is featured on thecoat of arms and theflag of Turkmenistan.
