Yelisey Sergeyevich Syrov (Russian:Елисей Сергеевич Сыров; born 16 January 2008) is a Russian professionalfootballer who plays as amidfielder forLudogorets Razgrad.[1]
Born inSaint Petersburg, Russia, Syrov began his career atZenit Saint Petersburg Academy.[2] In the summer of 2022 he moved with his family to Bulgaria and joinedLudogorets Razgrad Academy.[3] He quickly established himself in the academy teams becoming champion with both U16 and U17 teams and won the award for best U17 player in Bulgaria.[4] On 26 May 2024 he was unused substitute in the league match againstLevski Sofia.[5] On 28 July 2024 he signed his first professional contract with Ludogorets at the age of 16 and was called one of biggest talents in Ludogorets Academy.[6][7] In June 2024 he joined the summer camp with the first team.[8] In January 2025 he was once again called for the first team winter camp.[9]
In an interview in January 2025,Ludogorets II manager,Zahari Sirakov, spoke about the desire of Syrov to gain Bulgarian citizenship and representBulgaria.[10]
