Robert Yehoshua Büchler (Hebrew:יהושע ביכלר; 1929–2009) was a Slovak-Israeli historian. In 1944, he was deported fromSlovakia and survivedAuschwitz andBuchenwald concentration camps.[1][2] He was the director of theMoreshet Archive [he] in Israel.[3] Büchler was awarded theOrder of Merit of the Free State of Thuringia.[4]
