Yegor Konstantinovich Baburin (Russian:Егор Константинович Бабурин; born 9 August 1993) is a Russian professionalfootballgoalkeeper who plays forTorpedo Moscow.
He made his debut in theRussian Premier League on 17 March 2013 forZenit St. Petersburg in a game againstFC Mordovia Saransk. First choice Zenit goalkeeperVyacheslav Malafeev was injured before the game. Baburin entered the pitch after 10 minutes of play whenYuri Zhevnov who started the game picked up the muscle strain.[1]
On 1 August 2018, he extended his contract with Zenit for 3 additional seasons.[2] On 29 August 2018, he joinedFC Rubin Kazan on loan for the 2018–19 season.[3]
On 12 July 2019, he signed a 4-year contract withFC Rostov.[4]
On 25 February 2021, he moved to Russian clubFC Krasnodar, on a loan deal until the end of the season.[5] On 16 July 2022, Baburin joinedFC Torpedo Moscow on loan.[6]
On 21 June 2023, Baburin moved toFC Torpedo Moscow on a permanent basis and signed a three-year contract with the club.[7]
